Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (PTAA) provides a unique, innovative, and tuition-free Charter School providing a Thou-12 course option for residents of Dallas-Fort Worth. Our goal is to make education better, fun and enjoyable to our students. With our focused Engineering science and Applied science curriculum , PTAA is providing the best in education across all of our campuses.

Excelling at Global Level
A recent report carried out past the Economist Intelligence Unit of measurement (EIU) ranked the US 17th in an assessment of the instruction systems of 50 countries. These numbers are more than troubling in Math and Science where we slip to 29th and 22nd rank respectively. PTAA believes that our students should exist competing and excelling at a global level, and should be prepared, challenged and mentored at that aforementioned level.

PTAA's curriculum is infused with engineering science and adheres to the International Society for Technology in Pedagogy (ISTE) Digital Learning Standards (NETS-Southward, 2007). These include: Creativity and Innovation, Communication and Collaboration, Research and Information Fluency, Disquisitional Thinking, Trouble Solving and Decision-making, Digital Citizenship, Technology Operations and Concepts. This begins with our Thou-v program and scaffolds skills through Center and High School. Diagnostic testing reveals strengths and gaps the beginning weeks of school, allowing for support and remediation to begin early helping our students stay on track. Private graduation plans and pathways are created for each student starting time in the spring of eighth grade preparing for their "PTECH" (Pathways in Engineering Early College High School) experience.

The digital world has created a new challenge for today's students – global economics. Students today are at present competing for careers with students from around the earth. At PTAA, nosotros exercise not see the global environment equally a claiming but equally an opportunity.
